Nancy Leathers Graves
Nancy has worked for 20+ years as an executive communications strategist & coach. She launched her own communications company 13 years ago. She provides coaching in 1x1 engagements and small group contexts to help individuals and teams express their ideas and requests with more clarity, confidence, and thoughtfulness. Her niches include high tech, executive women, sharp-but-shy presenters, people who speak English as a second language, and cultural diversity groups. She also coaches speakers to deliver TED talks, keynotes, commencement addresses and other big stage or high stakes engagements.
Nancy’s undergraduate work is in counseling and psychology, and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin is in Organization Development. She brings her research and experience in the areas of optimal performance and systems theory into her work. Nancy and her family are based in Austin.
Dan Leathers
Dan is a trainer & coach with over 25 years of training, consulting and human resources experience.
Dan is passionate about building relationships and educating others on communicating effectively and efficiently. He is a natural connector who models skills and strategies of teambuilding and influencing in his work. He has coached and trained hundreds of individuals at all organizational levels in high tech, financial, healthcare and retail companies throughout the country. He has been responsible for overseeing the human resources function, including full-cycle recruitment, employee relations and benefits for public, private and non-profit organizations in multiple industries including financial, technology, and medical.
Dan’s undergraduate work is in Global Management at Arizona State University. He has acquired the SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications. Dan is an ordained minister and has officiated multiple weddings and a celebration of life. Dan is based in Portland, Oregon with his wife and seven-year-old daughter. He loves the outdoors, traveling and being active.
Gina Morris
Gina is a trainer, coach, and consultant to individuals and organizations striving to improve organizational culture and optimize performance. Her mission is to support leaders in achieving their full potential by improving their capacity to communicate and collaborate effectively.
Gina has 20+ years of experience across technology start-ups, schools and universities, nonprofits and foundations. She served as VP of Programs for a Silicon Valley EdTech company, CEO of a youth development organization, has worked as adjunct faculty at the University of San Francisco’s School of Education and as a curriculum and product design director at Stanford University.
Gina earned a B.S. in Psychology from California State University, and a Master’s degree in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from Stanford University. She lives with her husband and daughter in Berkeley, CA, where she can often be found hiking the local hills and eagerly experimenting with new recipes.
Lori Hunt
For over 8 years, Lori has served as business manager overseeing all the logistical details of our business. She is on the frontline and works closely with our clients to build and maintain relationships. Internally, Lori supports our training and coaching team end-to-end from scheduling through the full delivery of the work.
Before joining NLG, Lori was a paralegal in both private and Fortune 100 corporate settings and has 30+ years legal experience. She is a native Texan who loves spending time with her family, listening to live music, and baking decadent desserts.
